Retirement

  • Our employees can defer up to 20% of their pay on a before-tax and/or after-tax basis, subject to IRS limits, on contributions to our 401(k) Salary Investment Plan. Reed Elsevier contributes $.50 for each dollar an employee contributes for the first 6%
  • Employees are fully vested in the company provided Reed Elsevier US Retirement Plan after five years of employment
  • A Stock Purchase Plan is available after six months of service, with no broker's commission
  • Retiree medical care is available to retired employees through participation in our company-subsidized group retiree medical plan
